Travellers around the world have continued to give Singapore Changi Airport their stamp of approval, with Changi picking up three Best Airport awards in the first quarter of 2010.

The awards include Top Worldwide Airport by Wanderlust and Best Airport in Asia Pacific by DestinAsian, which were received last month. The latest, announced yesterday night in Brussels, Belgium, is the World’s Best Airport award at the 2010 Skytrax World Airport Awards. Changi also picked up the Skytrax award for Best Leisure Amenities.

Changi Airport has won the awards by Wanderlust and DestinAsian eight and five times respectively, and consecutively in the latter case. The World’s Best Airport award by Skytrax is Changi’s third. Since its opening in 1981, Changi Airport has won more than 340 airport awards.
