The ticket of hopeful pilots to becoming full- pledged is the private pilot certificate. However, before you get that, you have to go through a series of tests and hardships to further shape you into becoming a good, if not the best, pilot out there. The only way you can finally have this passport is through successfully passing the private pilot check ride.
Therefore, you must prepare as hard and as early as you can. Run through your lessons, and review them over and over until it seems like you have memorized every piece of information. However, do not be overconfident. You might forget a couple of things once you are there. Shape your flying skills to the best way you can. Do not rely on your mere capacity. Bring some other materials with you, just in case things go at a wrong turn. These things will guide you through everything that you might possibly need, and will remind you of everything that you might forget. Treat them as if your life depends on them.
This can done through studying thoroughly, and honing your skills until they are at their fullest. At the day of your private pilot check ride, do not be too sure of yourself. You will still need some things to guide you through the flight, and make sure that you are still doing great. You life will literally depend on these things.
Keep your charts updated. Your sectional, airport facility directory, or AFD, and Federal Aviation Regulations/ Aeronautical Information Manual, or FAR/ AIM, should keep up with the current date, too. These things will surely provide you great help once you take the check ride.
Other things that play an important role are your logbook and paperwork. All your endorsements are in your logbook, which makes them a matter of life and death. Make sure that you have your 8710 form with you, or your IACRA, Integrated Airman Certification and Rating Application, login information.
