Getting to Geneva from the UK on a budget is easiest during the winter holiday season. Many of the budget airlines only offer flights from regional UK airports during winter or they cut their number of flights during spring and summer. If you wish to visit Geneva outside the winter season, British Airways, Easyjet and Swiss offer daily or weekly flights from Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton or London City airports.

The Geneva Cointrin International Airport, GVA, is only 5 kilometers north of Geneva. Choose from public busses, hotel shuttles or train service to get you to the city. From Cornavin Railroad Station, you can make connections to locations throughout Europe. You may also choose to hire a car. Because Geneva is the main arrival point for skiers to the French and Swiss Alps, the airport is divided into two sections, so travelers can exit either the French or Swiss side
